When I met Fiona and Sven for the first time at their home, one of their cats walked around me and I immediately had this feeling in my gut. There was this kind of connection as we’ve been friends for a very long time. With no awkward small talk at the beginning and no oddly, over properly behavior. With no cautious distance and no embarassing silence when nobody knows what to do or say next. It just felt like this was one of many visits we had before. I mean with Fiona and Sven, not with the cat, although the cat seemed to be nice as well and we could definitely become friends too.

A bit later, with a beer in our hand and a few more in a cool bag, we hit the road to a nearby forest area where they regularly go for a walk. Together with the color scheme “greenery” for their wedding next year, it really couldn’t fit any better.

There, we spent the rest of the day together, roaming around in the forest, on meadows and paths till the very last daylight was gone and only the stars were left. And once again, I really can’t wait for their wedding day and I’m simply thankful to be able to do what I love.
